Beginner’s Guide to Fantasy Premier League Pre-season #1:

It may be over a month since Leicester City did the, what was thought of before December as the impossible, but made everyone watching believe that anything was possible and won the Premier League. But, it is coming up to the time where people start to ponder their 101+ different drafts of their Fantasy Premier League side for the upcoming season.

If you are totally new to this Fantasy Premier League thing, or you are just a casual FPL manager year in, year out, do not worry Fantasy Football Dugout is here to help guide you through everything.
Ok, so it is fairly simple to do, first of all you have to register, even if you are an avid FPL manager. Once you have gone through that whole rigmarole, and accepted the email that was sent to you, you can go ahead and create your first draft side as well as your team name and team colours. You know have the pristine chance to go through all those many changes before the start of the season, watching the transfer market for transfers in and out of the Premier League for your team.

Do you pick a transfer in, such as Ilkay Gundogan, Granit Xhaka or Eric Bailly or wait to see how much they cost in FPL.

Oh, I am starting to remember how addicted I am to FPL…

One big thing that you have to remember is that around this time of the year, everyone is like yourself and going through countless hours of Alexis Sanchez over Granit Xhaka or trying to fit Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy in their FPL Teams. You are not alone.

This can be time-consuming, brain-wrecking, anger-inducing, but it can also be fun. If you are a new or casual manager like above, you may only be concerned with doing the best you can this season, be it, finishing top of your friends / work mini-league or achieving as high a ranking as possible. For me, this year, I want to finish with as high a ranking as possible.

If this article for FPL Cafe does well, I am thinking of doing an early picks article in this pre-season series. But, for now you can do three things for me: 1) Sit back and relax, enjoying Euro 2016 or the summer in general. 2) Do not stress over FPL for the moment and everything that comes with it. 3) Follow us on Twitter, @fplcafe.
